Lunar Eclipse of 21 Jan 2019 – Image taken at 4:41am – just missing the meteorite strike by seconds!
Image was created by stitching together two 5 second exposure partial images as my telescope-camera image scale (TAL200K and Canon EOS 1100D) was too big to fit the whole Moon. Created with GIMP using layers and layer-mask but not perfect.
The star just on the limb at 10 o’clock is HIP39869.
